Terms of Service

The terms for using hg-intel.com.au and the HG Intel service. Last updated 16 October 2026.

These Terms govern your use of the hg-intel.com.au website and the HG Intel service ("HG Intel"), provided by Holistic Governance Pty Ltd (ACN 698 725 558, ABN 52 698 725 558), trading as Holistic Governance ("we", "us", "our"). By using HG Intel you agree to these Terms. If you use HG Intel on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to accept these Terms for it.

Where your organisation has a separate written agreement with us for HG Intel, that agreement applies, and it prevails over these Terms if they conflict.

1. The service

HG Intel provides regulatory and best-practice intelligence for Australian health and aged care providers. It summarises and organises information published by regulators, legislators and other sources. We may change, add or remove features as the service develops.

2. Not professional advice

HG Intel supports your own decision-making. It is not legal, clinical, medical or regulatory advice, and is not a substitute for advice from a suitably qualified professional. Some content is produced with the help of artificial intelligence and reviewed under our editorial process, but it may still contain errors or omissions. Always check the original source before you rely on it. You remain responsible for your organisation's compliance and for decisions made through your own clinical and corporate governance processes.

3. Accounts

  • You must give accurate information and keep your sign-in details secure.
  • Accounts are for the named user only and must not be shared.
  • Tell us promptly at info@hg-intel.com.au if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.

4. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • use HG Intel unlawfully or in a way that infringes anyone's rights
  • try to gain unauthorised access to the service, other accounts or our systems
  • scrape, copy in bulk, resell or redistribute HG Intel content outside your organisation without our written permission
  • interfere with the security or operation of the service

5. Intellectual property

We own, or are licensed to use, HG Intel and its content, including summaries, classifications, software and design. While your account is active, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use HG Intel content for your organisation's internal purposes. Source materials published by third parties remain the property of their owners and are subject to their own terms. Information you give us remains yours, and we use it only to provide the service.

6. Privacy

We handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

7. Availability

We aim to keep HG Intel available and accurate, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or complete, or that any source will be covered within a particular time.

8. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded. Subject to those rights:

  • our total liability to you in connection with HG Intel is limited to the fees you paid for HG Intel in the 12 months before the claim (or, if you have not paid fees, AUD $100)
  • we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit, data or opportunity

9. Suspension and termination

You may stop using HG Intel at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these Terms, or where needed to protect the service or other users. Sections 2, 5, 8 and 10 continue after termination.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date shows the latest version. If we make a significant change, we will tell account holders before it takes effect.
