HG Intel is a product of Holistic Governance Pty Ltd, a small Australian software company in Melbourne. It exists because tracking regulatory change across health and care is still done with browser tabs, mailing lists and hope.

Naomi founded Holistic Governance and is the founder of HG Intel. She has more than a decade of senior leadership across aged care, disability, hospital and community health, specialising in clinical governance, accreditation frameworks and data-driven assurance. She has served as Director of Nursing in day theatre, and has chaired both a Medical Advisory Committee and a hospital quality and NSQHS committee.
She is a current board director and chairs a care governance committee, which is where the product started: sitting in board meetings asking how anyone could be sure a regulatory change had actually been noticed, let alone acted on. She sets the product direction, owns the source registry, and is the Registered Nurse behind the curation checkpoint that every source in HG Intel has to pass.
Holistic Governance Pty Ltd also provides governance advisory services to health and care providers, under the Holistic Governance brand at hg-au.com. HG Intel is the company's software product and is operated separately from that practice.
